In 1991 Paul, Steve and Alan Matt co-founded Matt Construction, laying a strong foundation for a diversified general contracting firm distinguished by integrity, quality, teamwork and years of hands-on building experience. Since its founding, Matt Construction has experienced sustained and steady growth, with today's annual building volume reaching over $380 million and a workforce of over 200 employees in two offices: Santa Fe Springs in Southern California and Las Vegas. The company is also ranked in ENR's most recent listing of "Top 400 Contractors."

Matt Construction represents hundreds of collective years of construction expertise. Chief Executive Officer Paul Matt has more than 40 years of construction experience prior to the founding of Matt Construction encompassing some 450 West Coast projects, including landmarks such as the Orange County Performing Arts Center, Bonaventure Hotel, Crystal Cathedral and Salk Institute in Southern California.

This depth of experience, along with Steve Matt's talents in preconstruction planning and project management and Alan Matt's background in finance, is even more significant when combined with the expertise of the firm's project managers and superintendents, many of whom have worked together over 20 years on major projects throughout the West. Clients are the direct beneficiaries of this extensive experience, with involvement by Matt principals and project supervisors from start to finish on every project the company undertakes.
