The Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands’ Visitor Center in Rancho Mirage hosts general public exhibits and conferences that advance understanding of democracy and global issues. The project is located on 15 acres of property adjoining the Annenbergs' "Sunnylands" estate. The Center, designed by Frederick Fisher & Partners, includes a café, exhibition room, multipurpose room, lobby and office spaces, and is rated LEED Gold through use of green building practices and innovations such as a photovoltaic solar field to generate the Center’s electricity supply.

An extensive landscaping program includes a labyrinth for visitors to walk through while enjoying the Center’s scenery and lush plantings.
