Installation of a steel space frame and glass floating canopy over MOCA’s entrance and Arco Court. MATT’s team trucked the prefabricated steel frame, painted in two halves, to the site and then joined them together in place at night. The final product combined custom-built, shop-welded steel tube framing, high performance marine stainless steel cable and a Pilkington floating glass system. Extraordinary care ensured that the steel tube’s degree of finish matched the building’s silver metallic finish.
