New memorial monument constructed on Terminal Island in honor of the Japanese fishing community that flourished there prior to Pearl Harbor. The 75′ x 22′ memorial includes a 17′ Torii gate made of architectural concrete and two stainless steel and ornamental iron statues. The Terminal Island Memorial walls are architectural concrete and are lined with stainless steel plaques and granite etchings.
