CoreSite SV7 Data Center is a new four-story, 246,000 sf, fully built-out data center built utilizing ConXtech’s modular structural steel system. Electrical and HVAC systems support 24 MW of data servers. Highlights of the build include ten 2.5 MW emergency generators, a 60,000-gallon underground fuel storage tank, raised floor systems and a 10,000-pound-capacity freight elevator.

The exterior façade features a terracotta rain screen system manufactured in Germany. In addition, the facade features aluminum composite metal panels, aluminum curtain wall and granite cladding. The site enhancements included extensive landscaping with bioswales, asphalt paving for fire lanes, parking and concrete walkways. As part of the development, new electrical duck banks and vaults were installed offsite for Silicon Valley Power.

The construction portion of the SV7 project went from groundbreaking to TCO in 10 months.
