Chair, Compensation Committee
Francis Boero has served on the MATT Construction board since 2015, bringing more than 30 years of leadership experience across scientific, medical, and service organizations. His career spans an unusually broad range of industries and geographies, giving him a distinctive perspective on organizational performance and growth.
Before joining the MATT board, Francis spent over 20 years with Johnson & Johnson Medical, where he rose to Vice President for international divisions responsible for hospital instrument processing, laboratory services, and clinical care products. Based primarily in Latin America, his teams also carried responsibility for professional education, regulatory affairs, and government relations.
Francis currently serves as General Manager of Anthea LLC, a firm providing product integrity and business-to-consumer solutions to the licensed cannabis industry.
He earned degrees in Physics and Information Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and a Ph.D. in Experimental Physics from the University of Southern California. He also holds certificates in International Business and an auditor accreditation for the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program.
At MATT, Francis advises on strengthening the company’s core capabilities while preserving the personal care and attention that sets MATT apart for our clients. Outside of his professional work, Francis and his wife, Kelley, are based in New York, where they are active in charitable and civic organizations.
