Faron van Dissel launched his construction career with a degree in Construction Management from California State University, Long Beach. Over the first 13 years of his professional journey, he focused on delivering K–12 schools, libraries, theme parks and campus-based facilities across Southern California.
Since joining MATT Construction in 2004, Faron has brought his disciplined planning and collaborative mindset to some of the company’s most intricate and high-profile projects. His alignment with MATT’s commitment to a rigorous preconstruction process has made him a key leader in driving successful outcomes through proactive coordination and communication.
With more than 35 years of industry experience, Faron has led a diverse portfolio of projects—from luxury residences and educational institutions to cultural landmarks and athletic facilities. His ability to foster strong relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors has been instrumental in guiding teams from concept through completion.
Outside of work, Faron is known for his hands-on approach to home improvement and his love of the outdoors, often spending time in the local mountains. In his role as Senior Vice President of Operations, he continues to lead with integrity, technical expertise, and a passion for building.
